This includes the creation, hosting & total management of the 2017staffpicstudent-athlete's interactive online Recruiting Profile, with unlimited updates along the way, plus the unlimited creation of professional, embedded online videos that are always edited right here in-house by our video production team as many times as necessary throughout the entire recruiting process. REMEMBER: Online video is the first thing a college coach will generally see when being introduced to a new athlete for the first time. The video, and the entire "online representation" of the athlete, should be as professional and well produced as could possibly be and should continue to evolve and be rebuilt as needed ongoingly throughout the entire recruiting process. We generally create upwards of 4-5 video productions for each student-athlete throughout the course of our program.

At Explosive Sports Performance, training programs focused on injury prevention and performance enhancement are standard for every athlete. What makes our programs unique is our understanding of the specific needs of each athlete and the knowledge to appropriately target certain athletic qualities with proper timing and sequencing in the development process. This is accomplished only by taking into consideration where the athlete currently stands in regards to developmental age, physical, and emotional maturity. We accept applicants 13 years old and up into our training programs.
Each new client at Explosive Sports Performance will complete a comprehensive and personalized assessment. Our goal is to collect as much relevant information as possible that could potentially contribute to our decision making process. Our intake process allows us to understand specific details about our client to determine what is appropriate and what limitations we may encounter during their training program. It is our objective to educate our clients on what we see as their individual needs and how they coordinate with their desired goals, as well as what approach needs to be taken to reach those goals.

A regular yoga practice and strength training program will change your life in the most wonderful ways.
If you feel nervous, scared, or a little intimidated no problem. Many people feel that way initially. Just don’t let it stop you from coming to class. Our classes are designed for beginners, so know that with a little practice and experience, you’ll quickly feel right at home.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day so you’re well hydrated before coming to class. Good hydration supports the healthy function of all of your body’s systems, and it makes class feel comfortable rather than overwhelming.
Arrive 15 – 20 minutes early for your first class. Please be sure to check in at the front desk, or with your coach for CrossFit. This gives us time for registration and orientation. Arriving early ensures a stress free and relaxed beginning to your lifelong practice.
Don’t think you have to get in shape before coming to class – that puts the cart before the horse! Come take your first class, and then take class as often as you possibly can and you will quickly lose weight, get in shape, and feel absolutely wonderful.
During class nobody will look at you or judge you. The teacher or coach will guide you and instruct you, always with compassion and respect. There’s no need or reason to be self-conscious. It’s also helpful to realize everyone’s focus is on themselves – they are working too hard even to notice you!
Remember, everyone had their very first class, even the people who have been coming for years. They make it look easy because they persevered, and you can too.
