Fall Ball TRYOUT: 4th-8th Grades

What: Intimate Team Situations, Drills, Skills Training, Conditioning – “Stay Ready”
When: Tuesday’s @ Nimitz Middle school
Fridays @ Esinhower middle school
Time: 6:30pm- 8:00pm
( Must attend at least one practice a week to get put on the roster and get games minutes)
Cost $100 per player for over 10 hours of skills training and team concepts
RSVP: your interest so that Marco can plan his training.
Who: All 4th-8th graders (Current Year) GIRLS ONLY
WE ARE TRYING TO ESTABLISH
5/6th grade team( will play in two tournaments or more from Oct-mid Jan) with some 3on3 tournament format as well
7/8th team( will play in 2 OR more from Oct/Nov) with some 3 on 3 tournament as well
THESE TOURNAMENTS WILL BE PAY TO PLAY AND TOURNAMENT COST WILL ALWAYS BE SPLIT AMONG THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS.
Most tournaments are 1 day format (3 games) most of the games will be played on Saturday although sometimes the tournament host will move it to Sunday ( we have no control over this)
Benefit: Marco Rivera will be the trainer for these sessions. Working with each player to strengthen their weaknesses and Enhance their strengths. September is a critical month for all ballers. Marco will teach athletes how to show their best at tryouts and also talk about what not to do.
Typically Season begins a October- November – it only takes a couple weeks to loose the conditioning that we have worked on all summer.
Note: 4th- 8th grade players- be on the lookout for Pay2Play tourneys – so that we can keep you in game mode.
Will try to form 3-4 different team/ rosters so that playing time can come in bunches. This is where we typically don’t worry about wins or loses yet getting players LIVE gametime action. I’ll be more present on the sidelines myself since my High school teams will slow down.
Also FallBall season will begin In October for 8th grade and Below. Spread the word to your classmates/Teammates. This is a great time of year to train / prepare for select season Tryouts. Marco will be able to get a real good perspective on each player, their readiness, engagement, passion and commitment.
